Shelburn Man Arrested After Investigation Into October Overdose Death

A Shelburn man was arrested following investigation of an October overdose death in Merom.
Sullivan County emergency units were called to Merom on October 14th to check on a man who was found unconscious. The man– later identified as 26 year-old Langdon Bynum- died a short time later at Sullivan County Community Hospital. An autopsy found Bynum’s cause of death was an overdose of heroin.
Over the last several months, law enforcement searched for the man who allegedly supplied the heroin to Bynum. The investigation led to 26 year-old Conner Wright of Shelburn. An arrest warrant for Wright was issued early this week, and was served to Wright in Bloomington yesterday.
Wright is charged with dealing in a narcotic drug. He was returned to Sullivan County Jail, where he is being held on 15-thousand dollars bond.
