State Police arrested a Petersburg man Friday morning after he fled a state trooper and crashed into another vehicle on State Road 257 in Pike County.
The trooper attempted to pull over 25-year-old Aaron Sanders for speeding on State Road 57, but Sanders failed to stop.
While attempting to pass a pick-up truck on State Road 257, Sanders struck the vehicle when it attempted to turn into a private drive.
The pickup, driven by 68-year-old Frank Rode of Velpen, flipped on its top.
Rode was taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Sanders was taken to Deaconess Mid-Town Hospital in Evansville where he was treated for a facial injury.
Police say Sanders has an active warrant out of Daviess County for Failing to Register as a Sex Offender.
Additional charges are expected.
