The Rivet eighth-grade boys beat Ambassador Academy (Mt. Carmel) Friday Night 46-3 at Ralph Holscher Gymnasium. Joseph Hostetler led the Patriots (6-1) with 15 points. Levi Brown, Cody Ladson, and Brody Shots scored 6 points each; Brady Bellessa 4; Nash Chattin 3; and Bryn Duckworth, Mikes Gardner, and Max Weiss 2.

The Rivet seventh-grade boys beat Ambassador Academy (Mt. Carmel) Friday night 45-6 at Ralph Holscher Gymnasium. Henry Holka led the Patriots (2-4) with 11 points. Carter Stevenson scored 8 points; John Martin Beam, Bracey Morron, and Lane Willis 6 each; Miles Holka 5; and Nolan Letts 3.
The Patriots 7th and 8th grade teams will host Owensville at Highland Woods Community Center on Monday.

The VU Lady Blazers picked up a 96-70 win over Malcolm X at home Friday Evening. Vincennes lead after one 22-18 and held Malcolm X to just 9 points in the 2nd quarter, earning a 43-27 advantage at the half. VU also outscored Malcolm X by 5 in each of the 3rd and 4th quarters for the win. Cherrelle Newsome lead Vincennes in scoring with 22 points, pacing 4 Lady Blazers in double figures. Nyre Williams added 17 points while Katrina Litte had 14. Chanice Willis chipped in 11 while Vincennes Lincoln Product Maycee Lange scored 1.

The IU Hoosiers came back from a small deficit at halftime and defeated Xavier in the Cintas Center 81-79 Friday Evening. IU is now 3-0 on the season.

In College Football Today, Indiana travels to Michigan State. Coverage starts at 11 this morning with a 12-noon kick on Wisdom 92.1 W-Z-D-M. Purdue celebrates Senior Day today with Northwestern in town. The Boilers are still looking at a chance in making the Big 10 Championship Game. That is a 12-noon kick at Ross Ade Stadium. Notre Dame hosts Boston College this afternoon in South Bend. Kick off is set for 2:30 this afternoon.
