Thirty-three contestants competed in the fourth annual Ms. Marvelous competition yesterday at Vincennes University’s Shircliff Auditorium. The contestants went for titles in the Ms. Marvelous and Senior Ms. Marvelous categories.
Stuckey Witsman was named as Ms. Marvelous, with Quanita Hart as runner-up. Senior Ms. Marvelous was Hazel Kirkwood, with Nicki Hurley as runner-up. Hart and Violet Hawkins were named winners of the Ms. Remarkable award.
The event is sponsored each year by Vincennes-based KCARC. KCARC president Mike Carney knows the annual pageant gives a great outlet to people with disabilities…

The contestants competed in casual wear and evening wear competitions. They also answered a question on stage as part of the casual wear competition.
