Spartan Win Homecoming While Warriors and Patriots Fall Short

Brayden Thorne had a eight-footer to win it, but the shot rolled off, and Eastern Greene defeated North Knox 60-59 at North Knox. Thorne led for the Warriors with 23; Keagan Thomas added 15. Jayce Skinner had 24 to lead Eastern Greene.
Eastern led 21-14 after one, but North Knox got close in the second quarter, and took their first lead in the third quarter. The game see-sawed back and forth, before the final shot went wide for the Warriors.
North Knox slips to 1-5 on the year. The Warriors won the JV game 44-43, with Rhett Sheren hitting the game winner with five seconds left. The Warrior JV’s are 5-1 on the year with the win.
The Warriors are back in action Tueseday night at Barr-Reeve.

The South Knox Spartans, with the return of Gage Bobe downed Homecoming Opponent Robinson 61-43. For 3-1 South Knox, Homecoming King Nick Johnson scored a career high 19 points to pace the Spartans attack. Justin Fickling added 16 and Gage Bobe in his return added 12.

North Daviess jumped out to an 18-8 first quarter lead and went on to beat
Rivet 50-36. Colton Mouzin led the patriots with 15 points. Rivet falls to
3-2 and will host Washington at Adams Coliseum next Saturday.
