Illinois Reminds Employers of New Laws

Some of Illinois’ new laws for 2019 are focusing on the job. The Illinois Department of Employment Security yesterday reminded employers of three new laws for the new year. The first is a plan that requires employers to reimburse workers for expenses within 30 days, the next is aimed at racial equal pay, and the third is a new package that includes tougher requirements for carnivals and fairs to make sure they are not employing sex offenders.
