State police say the state trooper who shot and killed Glenn Rightsell along US 231 in Montgomery County was not wearing a body-cam or had a working dashboard
cam at the time of the incident.
That trooper is now on leave while it’s investigated.
The ISP says Rightsell was reaching for a gun next to a stopped car along the highway over the weekend so the trooper shot him.
Rightsell’s family and friends are not buying that story from state police.
They say Rightsell had stopped along the road to help his daughter whose car broke down.
