Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb says he’s going to be as involved with the state’s proposed hate crime legislation as anyone else.
Holcomb told reporters at the statehouse yesterday that he plans to be ‘uber’ involved in the negotiations.
The governor said he wants to get Indiana on to ‘the right list’ of states.
Lawmakers agree on the idea of a hate crime law, but don’t agree on whether it should cover sexual orientation or gender identity.
