Customers who purchased certain brands of organic sunflower or tahini butter are being told to throw the product out.
Oskri Organics Corporation says the butter could be contaminated with listeria.
That can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in people with weak immune systems.
The organic butter was sold in 10 states, including Indiana.
It was also sold over the internet.
