The Daviess Community Hospital Foundation has donated an Automated Electronic Defibrillator to Vincennes University.
The portable device aids someone who is experiencing sudden cardiac arrest by transmitting a shock to return the person’s heart to a regular rhythm.
The AED will benefit student athletes and spectators at VU sporting events.
It was presented to VU athletic officials during halftime of the men’s basketball game on December 9th.
