The South Knox Spartans downed he Vincennes Lincoln Alices, 56-52, in boys high school hoops last night. South Knox led 21-13 at the half. The Alices rallied back from 13 down in the second half and took a lead in the fourth quarter. South Knox regrouped and was able to retake the lead back and hang on for the 56-52 victory.
For the 9-3 Spartans Gage Bobe had 16 points and Garrett Couchenour added 10.
For the 7-9 Alices, Brody Ruggles had 23 points. Hunter Hopwood tossed in 16 and Isaac Lane added 10.
Lincoln won the JV game 50-46.
South Knox plays again this afternoon at Eastern Greene.
