The Vincennes Animal Shelter is seeking bids for local contractors to fix its dog pen areas. Both the main building and the dog barn area have major structural problems. Animal Shelter Director Leah Vantlin says age took its toll on the dog areas of both buildings.
The renovations are expected to cost around 100-thousand dollars to finish. Vantlin is looking at various options to raise funds to get the job done.
