The Vincennes Utility Services Board authorized general manager Kirk Bouchie to find a new Sewer Camera Truck System. Vincennes Utilities budgeted around 320-thousand dollars toward purchasing the replacement truck; it would upgrade a 2005 original version that has become outdated.
Bouchie told the U-S-B he wants to purchase the truck from Indianapolis’ Joheeny Company. Bouchie and Board attorney Ed Cummings are checking with the state on the proper procedure to get the equipment. The new truck and camera system would allow for less-invasive underground checks of possible sewer and stormwater problems.
The Board gave Bouchie and Cummings permission to check on the purchase unanimously
