The Vincennes Rivet Patriots will go for a school record 30th victory of the year when they matchup with Marquette Catholic in the Class 1A Girls Basketball State Championship this morning at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Rivet enters the tilt 29-0 while Marquette Catholic is 26-2. The 2 losses for Marquette Catholic came on November 3rd to North Central of Indianapolis 65-63, and Chicago Simeon 58-32 on January 12th. This is a rematch of last year’s title game in Class 1A. Last season, Marquette Catholic defeated Vincennes Rivet 38-31.
