The Vincennes Parks Board heard last night about continuing work to improve the facilities at Gregg Park. City Parks superintendent Steve Beamon discussed continuing work on the enclosed Shelter House, as well as a conversion of the tennis courts. The tennis area will be made into six different pickleball courts for continued public use.
Beamon says the improvements will enhance the public’s use and appreciation of Gregg Park…

The two projects are among three major upgrades at Gregg Park. Beamon says the third is set for work in 2020…

The shelter house work is set for completion by either the end of May, or early June. The work on reshaping the tennis courts will happen in the near future.
