All four Knox County high school baseball teams are involved in post season play today as sectionals continue with semi final and championship games on the agenda.
The Vincennes Lincoln Alices will take on Pike Central at 11am in a semi final matchup at Hill Field in the Vincennes class 3A sectional. The Alices carry a 19-8 record into the semi final contest with Pike Central. The Chargers are 11-14. You can hear the game on WZDM 92.1fm. The second semi final begins around 1p with 14-13 Washington playing 7-14 Princeton. The two winners play for a sectional championship tonight at 7.
Both North Knox and South Knox will play at the Mitchell class 2A sectional. At 10 this morning, 11-9 North Knox plays 12-8 Southridge. Then around noon, 11-12 South Knox plays 14-5 Linton . You can hear both games on WUZR 105.7fm. Winners play for the sectional crown tonight at 7.
The Vincennes Rivet Patriots see action today at the North Daviess class A sectional. At 10:30 the 6-9 patriots take on 15-5 Barr-Reeve. You can hear the game on WAOV 97.7fm. The other semi final at 12:30 pits 14-10 Loogootee against 7-9 North Daviess. Survivors plays for a sectional championship at 7:30 tonight.
