Parts of several Indiana state highways have been closed recently to allow for chip-seal work on the roads. In Knox County, the one chip-seal operation was on State Road 58 between State Road 67 and Elnora.
INDOT’s Jason Tiller says the chip-seal process will prolong the life of various state roads in the area…
Tiller also knows chip-sealing is less expensive for the taxpayers…
The roads have been, and will be, closed while chip-sealing work is going on.
