It’s fireworks season and that means it’s eye injury prevention month. Michigan nurse Erika Sermon says it’s better to leave the firework to the experts and remember that even sparklers can be very dangerous.
According to Sermon, 90-percent of eye injuries are preventable. One of the best ways to prevent them, she says, is to wear safety goggles.
