Progress continues in total completion of two projects at Gregg Park in Vincennes. Both the Gregg Park Shelter house, and transformed pickleball courts, are either complete or close to completion. City Parks Superintendent Steve Beamon gave the update as part of last night’s Vincennes City Parks Board session.
The shelter house is now complete on the inside, with rentals already coming in. City Parks superintendent Steve Beamon says one part of the renovated shelter house stands out…

Official completion of the Gregg Park pickleball courts will now happen next month, due to rain delays. Beamon says a group of community members gets the credit for the change-over of tennis courts to pickleball courts…

Other projects are up for federal grants, including long-awaited work to the Gregg Park bandshell. Beamon hopes grant money to improve that Gregg Park attraction will come soon.
