The Vincennes Lincoln Alices found the going to be tough against visiting Boonville as the pioneers handed the Alices a 19-6 loss. The two teams were deadlocked at zero to zero at halftime. In the third quarter Boonville scored first for a 6-0 lead. The Alices answered right back with a 65 yard scoring toss from Coleton Pffof to Torrance Gillis to even it at 6-6. That would be the Alices only hurrah for the night as Boonville would add two more scores
for the final of 19-6. The loss drops the Alices to 1-1 and they will play Friday night at Floyd Central.
Elsewhere last night, Evansville Bosse dropped Washington 47-21. North Davies beat North Central 38-0. Tecumseh downed Pike Central 39-6, Linton defeated Sullivan 35-12, Gibson Southern rolled by South Spencer 48-7, Terre Haute North blanked Princeton 38-0, Heritage Hills rolled over Tell City 42-6. Forest Park beat Perry Central 30-20.
Over in Illinois, Marshall beat Lawrenceville 28-16, Flora beat Red Hill.24-6, Warrensburg edged Robinson 21-20,Olney beat Casey 19-14 and Paris nipped Newton 13-12
