A delayed project along the Vincennes Riverfront near First Street is getting a boost by being in a state Opportunity Zone. Developer Andy Myszak told the Knox County Development Corporation Board tear-down of the Robinson Grain facility should start in weeks.
The demolition is part of the “Riverfront Place” project. After the grain elevator is removed, development of a mixed-income apartment complex will begin.

The grant was from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
