The annual “College Goal Sunday” will be held on Sunday, November third at various locations across Indiana. The day is designed to help students fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, form.
Students and parents should bring completed family tax returns, W-2 forms, and other benefits information for 2018. Any students who worked in the last year should also bring their income information. FAFSA forms are due in by April 15th to be valid for the 2020-21 school year. A completed FAFSA form is required to qualify for federal or state college aid.
Vincennes University’s campuses in Vincennes and Jasper will be College Goal Sunday sites again this year. The FAFSA help will also be offered at Ivy Tech’s Evansville campus on North First Street.
