Vincennes City offices will be closed on Tuesday for Election Day. All trash collection for Tuesday will be picked up with trash collection on Wednesday. Also Tuesday and Wednesday recycling will be taken in as well on Wednesday.
City offices in Vincennes will also be closed Monday, November 11th for Veterans Day. Trash collection will not be affected, but recycling normal taken in on Monday the 11th will be collected a day late. The recycling route on Monday the 11th will be combined with the normal route on Tuesday, November 12th.
Also, All Washington city offices and departments will be closed on Tuesday for Election Day.
There will be no trash pickup and the city bus will not be in operation.
The recycling center will also be closed.
Residents with trash pickup on Tuesday are asked to have their trash ready for pick up by 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 6th.
The Daviess County Landfill will also be closed on Election Day.
