Martha Jane Fuller was born September 23, 1949 in Decker Chapel to Arvle and Helen (Utterback) Young. She married Eldon Fuller on November 8, 1969 and he survives. Martha was a member of Christ Community Church and retired from Illusions Bridal Shop. She had also worked at Hill’s Department Store, and the Diane Shop. Some of her favorite’s things to do were cooking, sewing, quilting, embroidery, reading, and very much enjoyed spending time with her family and loved all her grandkids and great grands with all her heart. On Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 70 she passed away at her residence.
Those surviving are her husband Eldon Fuller of Bruceville; her children, Debbie Fuller and her companion Wayne Primus of Lawrenceville, and Dan Fuller and his wife Crystal of Bruceville, and Scott and Amie Lane of Richmond Hill, GA; her brothers and sisters, Wayne Young of Vincennes, Jim Young and his wife Julia of Portland, IN, Mildred “Mid” Walters and her husband Darrell of Decker, and Phyllis Helderman of Paris, IL; her grandchildren, Grayson, Garrett, and Lyndsay of Bruceville, Bethany and her husband Jared of Lawrenceville, Cassie and her husband Bill of Lawrenceville, Brittany of Indianapolis, and Michael and Joe of Richmond Hill, GA; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Kallie, Beau, of Lawrenceville, Arabella, Myah, and Carson of Lawrenceville, and Jayla of Indianapolis.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Leroy and Donald Young, one sister, Phyllis Helderman Young; and her in in-laws, Roy and Elzora Fuller.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Christ Community Church with Pastor John Charles and Dr. Charles Baxton officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ Community Church.
