New City Council, New Officers Take Positions at First 2020 Vincennes Council Session

Last night was the first session for the newly-formed Vincennes City Council.  It was the first session for four new Councilmen—Ryan Lough, Ed Gornall, Marc McNeece, and John Stangle.   They join Tim Salters, Brian Grove, and Dan Ravellette as new Councilmen.

The new Board named two of the holdovers as the Board’s officers.  Salters will now serve as Board president, with Grove as vice-president.  McNeece and Greg Parsley were named to the City Redevelopment Commission, while Salters edged out Ed Gornall for a position on the Knox County Solid Waste Management Board.  Finally, Stangle was named to the Urban Enterprise Association Board.

The newly-aligned Council will take the next couple of weeks to determine their new committees, and committee chairmanships.  Those are expected to be named at their session on Monday, January 27th.
