Two Vincennes Projects Continue Positive Movement

Various Vincennes projects continue to move forward into the early part of this year.  The largest project underway in the city is the Riverview project.  A major part of the project—tearing down and cleaning up debris from the former Robinson Grain elevator—is almost complete.  The site will be used for construction of the three-story Riverview Apartments on the site.

Vincennes Mayor Joe Yochum says though work on the other half of the project—the construction of 20 new single-family residence homes—is also chugging along…

City officials are also working on the Forbes Road improvement project.  Mayor Yochum says a lot of that work involves improving the area’s drainage…

Work also continues on the French Quarter apartments at Vincennes University.  That project is underway in the area along Second Street between Hart Street and the C-S-X railroad tracks.
