The Knox County Council filled two positions, and increased pay and hours on a third, at yesterday’s Council session.
The Board named Ed Martin, Junior to the Knox County Housing Authority Board. They also re-appointed Ed Thais to the Property Tax Board of Appeals. Council members also increased pay and working hours for positions with the County’s Solid Waste Management District.’
Finally, Council members approved a request to find a replacement at the Knox County Treasurer’s office. Office bookkeeper Debbie Agee is retiring; the spot is expected to be filled by the end of March.
