The North Knox girls’ volleyball team was defeated in the first round of the Eastern Greene volleyball sectional last night. The Lady Warriors lost to Forest Park 23-25, 21-25, 22-25. The Lady Rangers move on the semifinals with their victory.

Fans attending the Pike Central Cross Country Regional this Saturday are reminded of Covid-19 related rules. The rules include mask wearing and social distancing. A designated area will be put in place to watch the race’s finish. The expectation is that those watching their runner finish will move from the area as soon as their runner completes the course. This will allow for appropriate social distancing.
Parking will be the same as in past years. Admission is five dollars per person.

The Clark Middle School 8th grade team defeated Princeton 35-8 to finish the season at 10-1. B.J. McCrary ran 30 times for 172 yards, with a 32 yard touchdown run and an 80 yard kickoff return for another score. Luke Lindsey was 4 for 4 for 97 yards, including two touchdown runs, a 14 yard touchdown pass to Joel Sanders, and five extra points.
The 7th grade CMS team lost 29-6 to end the season at 0-9. Lucas Eaton had the lone touchdown pass, on a reception from from Quinten Butler.
