Daviess County Chamber Virtually Awards Members

The Daviess County Chamber of Commerce held their annual awards banquet virtually recently with several awards announced.

The Hagel Award was presented to former Washington Mayor, Joe Wellman for going above and beyond to promote the business community.

The Impact Award went to the Daviess County Health Department for their positive impact of wellbeing and quality of life for the citizens of Daviess County.

The Dillon Tourism Award went to Jameson Hills of West Boggs Park for promoting Daviess County’s amenities, especially during Covid-19.

The Firestarter Award was presented to Zella Taylor of Daviess County United Way for doing extraordinary work in Daviess County to help individuals and businesses with grant and financial assistance.

Shanon O’Toole was awarded the Outgoing President Recognition.

The Daviess County Chamber Business of the Year is Indiana Safety and Supply Company.

The Arthur R. Boddy Legacy Award was presented to Dave Cox.

The Daviess County Community Foundation Make A Difference Where it Matters Award was presented to The Bertha D Garten Ketcham Memorial Center.
