A few local games took place on the hardwood in Girls Basketball on Thursday. North Daviess edged Shoals 35-31 last night. North Daviess is now 1-1 while Shoals is 0-2. Pike Central defeated Evansville Reitz 52-39 to start the year off 1-0. Reitz is Vincennes Lincoln’s next scheduled opponent. The Alices were scheduled to play last night, but were unable to due to Covid-19. Also postponed last night in the area was Northeast Dubois and Paoli.
