(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) Purdue had chances in the 4th quarter, but fell short to the Northwestern Wildcats by a final of 27-20. The loss drops the boilers to 2-1 on the season. For Purdue, Aidan O’Connell completed 28 of 51 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns. Zander Horvath had 9 receptions for 100 yards while David Bell had 9 receptions for 78 yards. Horvath in the run game had 10 carries for just 21 yards. Purdue is back in action Friday at Minnesota.
