Knox Quarantine Results Stay the Same– Even with State Contact Rules Changing

coronavirus-2

Even though the state of Indiana is lowering quarantine requirements, Knox County is keeping theirs the same.  In a unanimous decision by County health officials, they decided to keep the 14-day quarantine for Covid-19 positive cases and close contacts.

The decision was due to a rise in coronavirus cases in Knox County.  Officials believe in the wake of the increase, this is not the time to lower the quarantine requirements.

State officials recommend that close contacts be released from quarantine after 10 days, if they test negative for Covid any of the 3 days prior, and show no symptoms.
