The Hoosier state will be home to the March Madness tournament.  NCAA President, Mark Emmert, says the 2021 Division-One men’s basketball championship will be played in Indianapolis, Bloomington, and West Lafayette, Indiana.  All teams will be staying in controlled environments with required COVID-19 testing.  The final four is scheduled to start April 3rd with a champion crowned April 5th.

Malcolm Brogdon scored 21 points and hit the go-ahead jumper with 3.6 seconds left in overtime in the Pacers’ 118-116 win over the Pelicans in New Orleans.  Victor Oladipo scored 25 points for Indiana.  The Pacers will host the Rockets tomorrow night.

Trayce Jackson-Davis had 22 points and 15 rebounds as Indiana rallied to beat Maryland 63-55 at home in a Big Ten contest.  Race Thompson had 13 points and 11 rebounds in the win.  The Hoosiers improved to 7-and-4.

The Purdue game scheduled tonight against Nebraska in West Lafayette has been postponed because of coronavirus issues.  The schools mutually agreed to postpone the game due to health and safety concerns.  They will work with the Big Ten to reschedule.

In college basketball tomorrow, Butler will host Georgetown.  Indiana State returns to action Saturday at home against Southern Illinois.

The Colts will play the Bills on Saturday in Orchard Park in a first-round NFL playoff game.  Indianapolis is seeded seventh with an 11-and-5 record.  Buffalo checks in at 13-and-3.  This is the second time in three seasons for the Colts to make the postseason under head coach Frank Reich.
