(((South Knox baseballers defeat Wood Memorial)

A nine-run second inning led the South Knox Spartans to a 15-3 victory over Wood Memorial yesterday in Oakland City.  Dylan Maeder and Nathan Fisher combined on a no-hitter over the five-inning game.  Fisher and Jeffrey Smith had three hits apiece in the game.

Next up is a home game with White River Valley tonight.  Game time is 5:30;  you can hear the game on 105.7, WUZR.

 

 

(Washington wins tri-match over SK, LHS)

Washington defeated both South Knox and Vincennes Lincoln in a tri-match at the Country Club of Old Vincennes.  Washington won with a score of 170, to South Knox’s 182 and Lincoln’s 209.

Washington’s Dominic DePass was low scorer in the match with a 40.  The Spartans’ Cameron Chattin was one stroke back, with a 41.  Three players tied with nine-hole scores of 52 for L-H-S.

 

(SK Defeated by Sullivan in Tennis)

The South Knox Spartans were defeated by Sullivan 5-0.  The J-V split two matches.  Kinley Beard won for South Knox in singles, and the doubles team of Kristy Beard and Anna Provines also got a win.

 

 

(CMS Track Team vs. Princeton(

The Clark Middle School track team were in action against Princeton last night.  In the 8th grade meets, Princeton won both the boys’ and girls’ meets.  In the sixth and seventh grade divisions, Clark took the boys meet, with Princeton winning the girls’ competition.

Both teams are back in action Monday against Jasper.
