United Way of Knox County Seeking Applicants for Remainder of Covid-Related Funds

The United Way of Knox County is seeking applicants for ten-thousand dollars in remaining Lilly Foundation Covid-related grants to assist the community.  The grants are the final part of the first wave of 250-thousand dollars in Lilly Foundation funding for Knox County groups in need.
United Way of Knox County director Mark Hill says so far, the first wave of Lilly grants have made a major impact in Knox County.
Anyone interested in applying can do so at unitedwayofknoxcounty-dot-org. Hill knows it is easy to click on the application for the leftover funds.
A second wave of similar Lilly funding is also possible later this year.  Anyone with questions should contact the United Way of Knox County  at 812-882-3624.
