Good Samaritan Hospital is helping those in need as part of National Parkinson’s Awareness Month. The month is designed to remember the one million Americans, and ten million worldwide, who suffer from the disease.
The newest treatment for Parkinson’s Disease is the Lee Silverman Voice Treatment, or L-S-V-T. The sessions involve one hour sessions over four days a week for four weeks, with daily homework sessions. The sessions are designed to help the internal aspects of Parkinson’s symptoms, leading to significant improvement.
More information on L-S-V-T is available by calling Good Samaritan Hospital, at 812-885-3011.
