(LHS Baseball Team Defeats Princeton)

The Vincennes Lincoln baseball Alices came back from a 4-2 deficit with six runs in the sixth to defeat Princeton 8-4 in Princeton.  Trey Fox went six innings, striking out 11 and giving up four hits in the victory.


(Pike Central Downs LHS Softballers)

Pike Central scored in all six innings en route to a 15-5 victory over the Lincoln High School softball team last night at Four Lakes Park.  The Chargers had 16 hits in the win.



(Big Inning Lifts NK Baseball to Win Over NE Dubois)

A nine-run fifth inning led the North Knox baseball Warriors to a 15-3 victory over the Northeast Dubois Jeeps.  The nine-run fifth reversed a 2-1 Warrior deficit, leading to the win.

Kale Jones had a complete game for the Warriors, scattering four hits over seven innings.  North Knox also took advantage of seven Jeep errors in the victory.


(LHS Sweeps Wood Memorial in Tennis)

The South Knox Spartans swept Wood Memorial in tennis, 5-0 yesterday.  The winners were Ella Hays, Abby Cunningham, and Madi Ziegler in singles, and Morgan Beard and Kaitlyn Williams, along with Graceanna Kramer and Anna Provines in doubles.  The Lady Spartans tennis team goes to 6-3 on the year with the win– including 3-1 in conference play.





(NK, SK Split in JH Track)

The North Knox and South Knox track teams split seventh and eighth grade track results at North knox.  In the boys’ meet, South Knox defeated North Knox 90 to 25.  The North Knox girls defeated South Knox in their meet, 64 to 58.


(CMS Softball Splits with Loogootee)

The Clark Middle School softball teams split with Loogootee last night.  The Lady Alice A-team defeated Loogootee 17-1 while the B team lost to the Lady Lions 4-3.  The L-H-S A team is 5-2, while the B squad slips to 1-3.
