Rokita — Parents Decisions for Kids

Indiana’s attorney general is doubling-down on his insistence that parents, and not schools, make the decisions for kids. Todd Rokita issued a new Parents Rights memo Monday, this time focusing on vaccines.

Rokita says there are no statewide requirements that kids get the coronavirus shot, and said parents have an absolute right to make healthcare decisions for their children. Rokita said in his open letter that schools should play a “supporting role,” and that parents “lead in raising and educating our children.”
