Barr Reeve captured the Girls golf sectional.
Lincolns Macy Sexton finished third with an 84 and will advance to the Regional along with Rivet’s Jacquelyn Steininger,
who carded an 89.
The South Knox girls captured the South Knox Cross Country Invitational. Top finishers for the Spartans
Were Aubrey Nowaski sixth, Ava Like 9th and Peyton Robbins 10th. Top finisher for North Knox was Rorri Bottum 32nd
while Megga Luchtefeld was 49th for Vincennes Lincoln.
The South Knox Boys finished second despite Calvin Crabtree placing first for the Spartans. Dylan Maeder was
third and Caleb Cork 7th for South Knox. Gobe Robarge was 8th for North Knox and Daxx Weist 24th for Lincoln.
In the Middle School boys Race, Issac Singleton was first with a new school record. Brody Francis was 24th for Clark
Middle School and John Martin Beam was 70th for Rivet. Girls Race had Grace Detweiler 8th for South Knox, Brylee
Quinett 30th for Clark and Kevi Black 74th for Rivet.
The Lincoln girls soccer team downed South Knox 2-0. Maya Miller had both Lincoln goals.
The Rivet Volleyball team captured the Southridge Invitational without losing a set. The Patriots beat North Knox, the host Raiders and
Eastern Pekin. For the day, Kenadee Frey had 14 kills, 18 digs and 28 assists. Mary Herman had 27 kills and Addi
Downen 32 digs. Rivet moves to 14-7 on the season.
The South Knox Volleyball team went 2-1 at the Washington Round Robin, beating the host Hatchets and Pike Central but lost to Eastern
Green. For the day, Addy Delisle had 33 digs, 32 assists, 23 points and 13 kills. Olivia Hamilton added 22 points and 17 digs.
