Two More Distinguished Alumni to be Honored Today During LHS Homecoming

Two more Vincennes Lincoln graduates will join the ranks of Distinguished Alumni today as part of Homecoming activities.

Barbara Burnett-Stahl is being honored for her career in various fields of art.  Among her works are murals for the Indiana Pacers, the 2012 Super Bowl at Lucas Oil Stadium, and art works for the Indiana State Library.  Among her honors is the 2021 Andy Warhol Foundation Award for visual arts.

The other alumni recognition is Lawren Mills.  Mills is being honored for her work for former Governor Mitch Daniels, and also for her role in forming the Healthy Indiana Plan, among other honors.  She has also been honored several times for her law-related work by the Indianapolis law firm Ice Miller, and has been president of the Richard Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series since 2018.  Mills was named a Juris Doctor at Indiana University in 2004.

Both Burnett-Stahl and Mills will be honored in a ceremony at the Riverfront Pavilion this afternoon. The Distinguished Alumni event will begin soon after completion of the annual Vincennes Lincoln Homecoming Parade.
