State Lawmakers Not Liable for Actions of Former Attorney General

A federal judge ruled this week the Indiana House and Senate are not liable for the actions of former Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill.

Four women sued Hill in 2018, claiming he groped them during a party at a downtown Indianapolis bar following the end of the legislative session.  The women sued the Indiana House and Senate as their employers.

The ruling stated the court in no way excuses Hill’s behavior.
