Gas Prices Steady in Vincennes, Statewide

The Triple-A Motor Club reports the average price of gas in Indiana Tuesday stood at $3.36 a gallon, the same as Monday and nine cents lower than Tuesday’s national average of $3.45 a gallon.

It was also four cents lower than a week ago, 40 cents higher than a month ago, and 22 cents higher than a year ago.  In Vincennes, gas prices are steady between $3.30 and $3.40 per gallon. The lowest gas price in the state is at Sullivan and Terre Haute; at last report, both cities have stations selling self-serve unleaded at $2.79 per gallon.

Meanwhile, the Triple-A also says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana Tuesday was $4.76 a gallon, the same as Monday. It was also four cents lower than a week ago, 21-cents lower than a month ago, and $1.10 higher than a year ago.
