Both the Knox and Daviess County Foundations are accepting applications for Community Good grants. Both foundations will give awards to charitable partners located in, or directly serving, their county’s residents.
Funding will be available to those groups to support a broad range of local needs. The grants can’t be used for religious groups using them for religious purposes, political parties or campaigns, endowment creation, debt reduction, or travel groups. Those trave groups include bands, sports teams, or school classes.
The deadline to apply in Daviess County is July 9th; in Knox County, the deadline is July 16th. Both groups plan to publish their awards by the end of October.
