Development company RJ Community Buildings has unveiled a possible 208-unit housing development for placement on Bierhaus Boulevard. The four-phase project would be located near Kohl’s on the south end of Bierhaus Boulevard.
Ross Wade, with RJ Community Buildings, expects it may take a few months to get necessary governmental approvals to get going. Dennis Helms is helping with the surveying and layout of the proposal itself; he is looking for a conditional use approval to allow more flexibility to get a proper plan in place.
The development idea was proposed last week to the Vincennes Redevelopment Commission. The idea is an answer to the City’s call to provide needed housing to spur Vincennes’ growth.
