The Melon Patch in Oaktown will be “Fueling Freedom” this afternoon. The station on U-S 41 between Vincennes and Oaktown will donate 50 cents per gallon of gas to support military families. That will happen for all gas purchased there between noon and five today. This is the 15th year for Fueling Freedom.
The Melon Patch Countrymark station is one of 34 statewide involved with Fueling Freedom this year. Last year, the stations involved raised over 63-thousand dollars for military readiness groups.
