A monster night for Vincennes Rivet’s Anna Herman.  The U-Conn commit exploded for 31 kills to go along with 10 points and 10 digs as the Class A 6th rated Patriots won at Northeast Dubois 3-1.  Also for 12-2 Rivet…Allison Hensley had 11 points and 21 assists, Mary Herman 17 digs and 19 assists and Lexi Frey 19 digs.  Rivet won the JV match 2-1.  Piper Lewis had 21 assists for the Patriots.Vincennes Lincoln is now 8-8 after downing Princeton 3-0.  Ari Gerkin had 22 kills for the Alices.  Matti Collins 20 assists.Amya Woodall 16 digs and Kahre McCrary 11 points and 11 digs.  Lincoln won the JV match 2-0.  Pressley Davis had nine points and nine assists.Class 2A number two Linton beat South Knox 3-0.  Addy DeLisle led the Spartans with 11 points, 10 digs and 8 kills.  Jaelynn Grumieaux added 13 digs.  Linton won the JV match 2-1.The Lincoln Tennis Team blanked South Knox 5-0.  Winning in singles play for the Alices were Gus McCrary, Josh Clegg and Luke Hall.  Also the doubles team of Jayden Ray and Cayden McCrary and the duo of Brett Turpin and Joel Sanders.The Lincoln Girls soccer team won its third straight, beating Rivet 4-1.  Kenzie Doerner had two goals while Brylee Quinette and Lucy Wisley the other scores.  Leela Gilmore had the Rivet goal and Alli Stearns had 14 saves.Also in girls soccer… North Knox defeated South Knox 2-1.  The Warrior goals were scored by Mattilynn Ashley and Leslie Kaetzel.  Ally Sims scored the South Knox goal with just over a minute remaining.The South Knox boys soccer team rolled over Shoals 7-0.  Braydon Loudermilk had a hat trick for the Spartans.The Rivet Soccer team lost to Northeast Dubois 8-0. In Middle School Volleyball…Clark 7th grade beat Boonville 2-1.  Kylee Henderson had ten assists.  The 8th grade was a 2-0 winner.  Olivia Lange had six assists for CMS.The South Knox 8th grade beat North Central 2-0.  Paige Dugan had 12 points.South Knox won the 7th grade match 2-0 as Shelbi Carie had ten points.South Knox 6th grade A team beat Pike Central 2-1.  Kodee Yarber with six points and three aces.  The B team won 2-0.The Clark 7th grade football team blasted Evansville Central 36-8. Landon Hartley had 2 passing touchdowns and a kick return for a touchdown.  Reid Kelso a rushing touchdown and Ethan Shoulders had a receiving touchdown and returned a punt for a score.North Knox lost to Shakamak 132-136 in golf action.  Luke Schroeder of North Knox was Co-medalist with a 30.
