Vincennes businessman Mike Sievers has been named as the new Chairman of the Vincennes University Board of Trustees. Sievers’ appointment follows the wish of former chair John Stachura to step down.
In comments at the V-U Board meeting, Stachura says his age played a part in the decision. For his part, new chairman Sievers likes the fact the Board itself is settled in its spots for a while.
Both men praised Stachura’s immediate predecessor as Chairman– J-R Gaylor– for his work in paving the way for both of them.
