Work Continues on Vincennes’ Watson Street Lift Station

It is a little noticed part of Vincennes’ sewer system– but it is an important part of the wastewater treatment process.  The Watson Street Lift Station near the Cub League complex is getting some upgrades as part of Vincennes Water Utilities overall maintenance plan.  Vincennes Water Utilities general manager Kirk Bouchie says this is the first major work on the lift station in almost a quarter century.
The work is part of the department’s planned projects for this year.  Other projects will include work on various parts of their water, wastewater, and stormwater systems. The biggest project is work on the new water tower at Hart Street and Richard Bauer Drive near Vincennes Lincoln High School.
