The annual Vincennes Rendezvous is coming this weekend to the French Commons just south of Vincennes. The two-day event is a step back in time, as a remembrance of the City’s colonial days.
The Rendezvous is run each year by the group Spirit of Vincennes, Incorporated. Longtime Rendezvous marketing director Mark Hill admits in some ways, this year’s festival was “eclipsed” in early April. Hill says regardless of a lack of publicity, the Rendezvous is still a great bang for the buck festival.
In fact, the eclipse is the theme of this year’s Rendezvous weekend. Only the eclipse they will feature is the Eclipse of 1806. More information is available by looking up the Spirit of Vincennes’ Website.
