A few areas in southern Knox and Gibson counties were still without power overnight. WIN Energy crews, along with some extra contracted electric workers, have restored electricity to nearly 7,000 of the estimated 8,000 locations affected.
The areas left for reconnection are in the areas around Decker and Princeton. One of the problems in Decker was the strike of an EF-2 rated tornado between Decker and Monroe City.
WIN Energy crews hope to have the rest of those without power reconnected by later in the day today.
